Ferry Terms & Refund Policy

Effective date: June 28, 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Techcesories LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of Georgia, United States ("Techcesories," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Ferry browser extension and any related websites, software, and services (together, "Ferry" or the "Service"). By installing, accessing, or using Ferry, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use Ferry.

The short version (a summary for convenience, not a substitute for the full terms): Ferry runs in your browser and exports your AI conversations to files. Free features are free. Pro is a paid license billed through Stripe. The 1, 3, and 6 month fares are prepaid and do not auto-renew; the annual fare auto-renews until you cancel. You can get a full refund within 30 days, no questions asked. Use Ferry only on content you have the right to access. Ferry is provided "as is," and our liability is limited. We are an independent product, not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, or Mozilla.

1. Who we are

Techcesories LLC, not Google, Microsoft, Mozilla, OpenAI, or Anthropic, is the seller and provider of Ferry. Payments for Ferry Pro are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). We never receive or store your full payment card details.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to meet the minimum-age requirements of the browser extension store through which you obtain Ferry. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use Ferry only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using Ferry, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. The Service

Ferry is a browser extension that exports and migrates conversations from supported third-party sites (currently ChatGPT and Claude) into portable formats such as Markdown, JSON, and PDF, and into destinations you connect using your own credentials. Free features are available at no charge. Ferry Pro unlocks the additional features described on our website and within the product at the time of purchase. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

4. License and restrictions

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to install and use Ferry on browsers you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use. Ferry Pro is a license to the Pro features, not a sale of the software.

You agree not to, and not to allow anyone else to: (a) copy, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute Ferry or any license key; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except to the limited extent that restriction is prohibited by applicable law; (c) circumvent, disable, or tamper with any licensing, security, or rate-limiting feature, including any limits that protect third-party sites; (d) use Ferry to build or train a competing product; or (e) remove or alter any proprietary notices.

5. License keys and your account

A Ferry Pro purchase entitles a single user to the Pro features. You are responsible for keeping any license key or credentials confidential and for all activity under your license. Licenses are personal and may not be shared, pooled, or transferred. We may deactivate a license we reasonably believe is being shared or used in violation of these Terms.

6. Plans, billing, and renewals

Ferry Pro is offered in the fares below. Each unlocks the same Pro features for its term.

FarePrice (USD)Renewal
1 month$2.99Prepaid, does not auto-renew
3 months$7.99Prepaid, does not auto-renew
6 months$12.99Prepaid, does not auto-renew
1 year$19.99Auto-renews annually until cancelled

Prepaid fares (1, 3, and 6 months) are paid in advance for the stated term and do not automatically renew. When the term ends, Pro features turn off unless you purchase again. No further charges are made.

The annual fare automatically renews at the then-current annual price at the end of each term, charging your payment method on file, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time before your renewal date; cancellation stops future charges, and your Pro access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. To cancel, contact us (Section 14) or use any self-service cancellation method we provide.

By purchasing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the fare you choose and, for the annual fare, for each renewal until you cancel. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude taxes, which we may add where required. We may change prices prospectively; for the auto-renewing annual fare, a price change applies only to renewals after we give you reasonable advance notice, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

7. Refunds

30-day, no-questions-asked refund. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 30 days of a charge and we will refund that charge in full. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within several business days. After the 30-day window, charges are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. If you think you were charged in error, please contact us before starting a chargeback so we can resolve it quickly.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use Ferry only to export or migrate conversations and content that you own or are otherwise authorized to access, and only in compliance with all applicable laws and the terms of any third-party site or service you use Ferry with. You agree not to use Ferry to: violate any third-party site's terms; access, copy, or distribute content you have no right to; infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy; or place an unreasonable load on, or otherwise abuse, any third-party site. You are solely responsible for how you use exported content.

9. Third-party services and changes

Ferry interacts with services operated by others, including ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), destinations you connect such as Obsidian, Notion, or GitHub, your browser and its extension store, and Stripe. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them, and your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Because these services control their own interfaces and may change them at any time, exports or migrations may occasionally break or need an update. We maintain Ferry on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis and do not guarantee continued compatibility with any third-party service.

10. Intellectual property

Ferry, including its software, design, text, and logos, is owned by Techcesories LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license granted above, we reserve all rights. "Techcesories" and "Ferry" are trademarks of Techcesories LLC; all other names and marks belong to their respective owners. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them with no obligation to you.

11. Privacy

Ferry is designed to run locally in your browser, and we do not receive the content of your conversations. For Ferry Pro, a minimal licensing service verifies your access with Stripe using an anonymous identifier and never sees your conversations. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

12. Disclaimers

Ferry is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Ferry will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that it will remain compatible with any third-party site, or that exports will be complete or accurate. You use Ferry at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything important. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Techcesories LLC and its owners and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use Ferry, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to Ferry will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for Ferry in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or twenty U.S. dollars (US$20). These limits apply regardless of the legal theory and are a fundamental basis of our agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Techcesories LLC and its owners and personnel from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse of Ferry, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, including any third-party site's terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using Ferry at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your license, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or use Ferry in a way that could harm us, other users, or any third party. On termination, the license granted to you ends and you must stop using Ferry; sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive. If we terminate your Pro license without cause while you have prepaid time remaining, we will refund the unused, prepaid portion.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of Ferry afterward means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, stop using Ferry.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules; the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to venue there, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence.

18. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about Ferry and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
